Read the general rules of our Discord server.

Follow these rules to keep the haunt.gg Discord server helpful, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

These rules were last updated on June 9, 2026. Please check back here for any future updates or changes to the rules.

Not reading the rules or choosing to ignore them does not protect you from punishment.

1. Be Respectful

Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, personal attacks, or intentionally hostile behavior will not be tolerated.

2. Follow Staff Instructions

If a Staff member tells you to stop, move, change, or clarify something, you are expected to follow those instructions. Arguing, ignoring moderation, or repeatedly pushing boundaries after being warned may lead to punishment.

3. Use the Correct Channels

Keep conversations in the channel that matches the topic. Do not post support questions, advertising, bug reports, event submissions, or off-topic messages in unrelated channels.

If you are unsure where something belongs, check the channel name, description, or ask a Staff member before posting.

4. No Spamming or Flooding

Do not spam messages, emojis, reactions, mentions, links, or images. Sending repeated, disruptive, or meaningless content that clutters chat is not allowed.

5. No NSFW or Inappropriate Content

NSFW, sexually explicit, shocking, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. This includes messages, usernames, profile pictures, links, images, videos, and embedded content.

Sharing severe NSFW or shock content may result in an immediate ban.

6. No Advertising or Self-Promotion

Do not advertise your own services, products, social media, servers, websites, or referral links without permission.

Advertising your haunt.gg account is only allowed in the appropriate channels. Randomly messaging people to promote your account, profile, or content is not allowed.

7. Be Respectful With L4L and C4C Requests

Asking for "L4L" (Like for Like) or "C4C" (Comment for Comment) is not prohibited in general. However, do not randomly mention or DM server members asking for likes, comments, or similar engagement.

If someone is not interested, accept that and do not keep pushing them.

8. English Only

Although the website supports multiple languages, all conversations in the server should be in English unless a channel explicitly allows something else.

9. No Fake or Misleading Content

Do not use bots, edited screenshots, fake messages, or similar tools to impersonate server members, mislead others, or create false context. This is not allowed even if you had no bad intention, because it creates security risks, confuses users, and can lead Staff to make moderation decisions based on false information.

10. No Abuse, Scams, or Malicious Behavior

Scamming, phishing, doxxing, threats, blackmail, malicious files, exploit sharing, or attempts to harm other users or the server are strictly prohibited.

11. Respect Privacy

Do not share private conversations, personal information, Staff-only information, or someone else's content without permission.

12. Keep Support Honest and Clear

When asking for help, explain your issue clearly and provide relevant details. Do not intentionally waste Staff time, troll in support channels, or open unnecessary tickets.

13. Common Sense Applies

Not every harmful behavior can be listed here. If you are clearly trying to disrupt the server, annoy others, bypass rules, or exploit loopholes, Staff may still take action.
