Participate

Learn how to participate in haunt.gg events.

Event Types

haunt.gg events currently use three main formats:

  • Profile Submission
  • Guess the Number
  • Quick Click

All events take place in our Discord server. Before you join, please read the event rules and keep an eye on the #event channel for announcements.

Profile Submission

In a Profile Submission event, you create a profile that matches the announced theme. If you need help building your entry, our Customization Guide walks through the available profile options.

Make sure your submission follows the theme, guidelines, and rules before you enter.

Once your themed profile is ready, submit it in the #event channel in our Discord server.

Your message must include:

  • A link to your haunt.gg profile
  • A screenshot of your finished profile

Guess The Number

1

Start Message

When the event starts, the bot sends a message in #event with the game details. The channel is hidden whenever no event is currently running.

The message usually includes:

  • Guesses per user
  • Time limit

An event organizer may also share extra instructions.

2

Guessing

Press the Guess button to submit your number. Your attempts may be limited, so make each guess count.

Hints may appear while the event is running, so keep watching the channel.

Additional guess attempts might be granted during the event, but you should not expect them.

The bot tells you whether your guess is correct.

3

End

The first person to guess the correct number wins. The bot announces the winner in the event channel and disables the guess button.

Quick Click

In Quick Click, participants must press a button as fast as possible after it appears. The fastest reaction time wins, and some rounds can have multiple winners.

1

Start Message

When the event starts, the bot posts a message in #event with the round details. The channel is hidden whenever no event is currently running.

The message usually includes:

  • The time window when the button(s) can appear
  • The number of winners
  • Whether there will be one button or multiple buttons

If the timer says 3 min, the button can appear at any moment within those three minutes. It does not mean it will appear exactly after three minutes.

2

Clicking

There are two Quick Click formats:

  • Single Button: One button appears, and the first person to click it wins.
  • Multiple Buttons: Several buttons appear in different colors, but only one is correct. The bot tells you which one to press.
3

End

The button stays active for around 10 seconds. After that, the round ends, the bot announces the winner or winners, and the button(s) are disabled.

A top 10 leaderboard is also shown together with round stats.

Lucky Seven

In Lucky Seven, you try to predict which number from 1 to 7 the bot will generate each round. The closer your guess is to the winning number, the more points you earn.

How the game works:

  • Each round shows 7 buttons labeled 1 to 7.
  • You usually have around 3 minutes to submit your guess, though the exact round length can be configured for each event.
  • You can only submit one guess per round.
  • After you click a number, the bot confirms ephemerally that your answer was counted.
  • You cannot change your guess after submitting it.
  • The winning number stays hidden until the round ends, so everyone has the same fair chance.

Point system:

  • Exact match (distance 0): 20 points
  • 1 away: 15 points
  • 2 away: 10 points
  • 3 away: 5 points
  • More than 3 away: 0 points
1

Start Message

When the event starts, the bot posts a message in #event with the game details. The channel is hidden whenever no event is currently running.

The message usually includes:

  • The number of normal rounds
  • The length of each round
  • When the first round starts and how long the breaks are between rounds
  • The point system
  • Bonus round information, including the chance of a bonus round and the maximum number of bonus rounds

There is also a button to toggle round pings. This is useful if you want to be notified when each round starts without having to watch the channel the entire time. You do not need round pings enabled to participate, but they make it easier not to miss a round.

2

Normal rounds

In every normal round, the bot randomly generates a number from 1 to 7.

You choose the number you think will be selected by clicking one of the seven buttons. After you submit your guess, the bot sends an ephemeral confirmation that your answer was counted.

The winning number and your distance from it stay hidden until the round ends. This keeps the round fair for everyone.

You cannot change your guess after submitting it.

3

Bonus rounds

Bonus rounds work the same way as normal rounds, but they are worth more points.

The chance of a bonus round appearing and the maximum number of bonus rounds are announced at the start of the event. Bonus rounds are counted separately and do not replace any of the normal rounds.

In bonus rounds, all points are doubled. You can also still earn points even if your guess is 4 away from the winning number, which is not possible in normal rounds.

4

Round End

After each round ends, the bot posts a message showing the correct number, the leaderboard, and round stats.

5

Game End

After all rounds are finished, the bot posts the final leaderboard and overall event stats.
